Early Summer Time

Racing in the Southeast is heating up along with the temps where it has been over 95 degrees the past 2 weekends.

June 6th saw the return of The Tarwheel on the trails of Chapel Hill, NC where Rich pulled in a 2nd in Cat. 2 and David a 4th in Cat. 1.  Doug was on the coast and battled to a 2nd place finish at the Blue Clay trails in Wilmington, NC.

The team headed to The Shootout at Angler’s Ridge in Danville, VA for round 8 of the Southern Classic Series on June 13th.  The heat and humidity was a factor but the crew all came in with strong results; Rich netting a 4th, Doug a 2nd and Aaron a 6th place finish.

The team is gearing up for the Triple Crown at Massanutten Virginia for some Super D, Short Track and Cross Country Racing the weekend of June 18-20th.

Keep an eye out for updates as the team prepares for the second half of the season with more Cross Country action and number of Endurance races that are on the calendar.

The Specialized/ Dumonde Tech Racing Team had a great weekend in Western North Carolina.

Aaron Hoag and Jason Laxton took home a big win at the 6 Hours of Warrior Creek in Wilksboro, NC winning the Duo Category and the Overall .  The two clocked in 6 laps in 5:56:40 and netted 2nd fastest lap of the day, missing the best lap time by only .063 seconds!

Doug Chamberlain came in with a top 10 in the Boone Roubaix.

A great start to the racing season!!
